Released in July, 2025, the album 2nd Act features 10 new catchy pop tunes by singer/songwriter Kip Richardson. 

Inspired by artists like the Beatles, Tom Petty andThe Kinks, this is classic rock-n-roll with a heart and a point of view. The songs address subjects as diverse as the insidious impact of technology on our personal freedoms (“Spy in My Pocket”) to the ominous echoes of Nazi Germany in our current politics (“The Minister of Public Enlightenment”). Along the way we hear stories about the struggle for working musicians to make a living (“The Abyss”), the desire for redemption. (“A Cleansing Rain”), the healing power of hope (“Don’t Count Me Out,” “Never Too Late,” ) and a recipe for shifting the shattered national conversation (“Let’s Get Curious.”)

Recorded and produced by Gregg Williams at the Trench in Portland, Oregon, 2nd Act features stellar performances by musicians Doug Fraser, Denny Bixby, Mark Spangler, Craig Carothers and John Bunzow.
