Sean Daly & The Shams - Irish Rebel rock

The Shams are an eclectic crew — folk, punk, rock, and tradition colliding into something that hits different every time. From intimate pub nights to headlining the American Music Hall, they bring the full weight of that history to every note.

Lead by Sean Daly who grew up in Donegal, he listened as The Wolfe Tones sang songs about Ireland, and The Irish Brigade sang songs about the ten. At thirteen, he stood in front of more than a thousand comrades and sang "Joe MacManus" — and something locked into place.

He carried those songs with him across the ocean, through San Francisco bars and rock and roll stages, even when the setlists said otherwise. The longing to sing songs of freedom never left him. When he brought his family back to Donegal, he found his way back to those songs too.

Opening act Vince & Kacey will bringtheir heartfelt and clever lyrics, with a style influenced by John Prine, Jason Isbell, and Bruce Springsteen.
